A one-to-one, 14 week mentorship opportunity with a young person. Be someone who sees their strengths, supports their growth and build your own mentoring skills along the way.
Youth Justice Committee volunteers help young people move through and past a minor offence by holding them accountable without holding them back.
Transformative, not transactional. We offer opportunities beyond a one-time give back activity for groups and organizations. This is meaningful team building and skill-based volunteering for your colleagues and friends.

A: That depends on the volunteer role you are interested in.
A mentor with our In the Lead program commits to 14 weeks of one-to-one support with a young person. Some weeks it’s a few hours and some weeks it’s only a few texts. A typical experience is 32 hours over the span of the 14 weeks.
A Youth Justice Committee member is a year long commitment and you are required to sit on at least one file per month.
Corporate and Community groups vary widely, as do one-off roles such as helping out at an event.
A: To be an In the Lead Coach you need to be 21 years or older. To be on a Youth Justice Committee you must be 25 years or older.

A: None! We have excellent training and will make sure you have all the confidence and support you need to make an impact. All you need is an open mind, a desire to learn and passion to make a difference in the lives of young people and their families.
A: All our Coaches are vetted and cleared with interviews and police checks. We walk you through that process once you have submitted an application.
A: We consider your experience as important as our young people’s. Your success as a volunteer is our success. We have a whole team of experienced people ready to walk with you in any volunteer role you choose.
